In our previous article, we discussed a simple observation: parcel transport between Europe and Morocco is changing.
Customers are increasingly used to online tracking, notifications, and quick access to information. At the same time, many transport agencies still organize their daily operations using a mix of paper, Excel spreadsheets, WhatsApp, and phone calls.
We believe traditional transport agencies have an important place in the future of this market.
But to continue growing, they need tools that are adapted to the way they actually work.
That is why we created DabaColis.
1. What is DabaColis?
DabaColis is a parcel management software designed to help transport agencies centralize and organize their operations.
The idea behind it is simple: allow an agency to find the information it needs in one place instead of searching through multiple files, documents, messages, and phone calls.
Parcels, trips, drivers, and partner agencies can all be managed through the same system, accessible from both web and mobile.
DabaColis also makes it possible to follow the different stages of a parcel’s journey and use QR code scanning to simplify certain daily operations.
But our goal is not to add technology simply for the sake of adding technology.
Our goal is to make the agency’s work easier.
2. A parcel management system that must remain simple
When people hear the word digitalization, they sometimes imagine complicated software with dozens of menus, difficult configurations, and weeks of training.
That is not the direction we want to take with DabaColis.
A transport agency already has a business to run. It needs to receive parcels, organize trips, work with drivers and partners, answer customers, and manage deliveries.
The software should make that work easier, not more complicated.
That is why we are building a parcel management system that is simple to understand and easy to adopt, both for agency managers and for the people working in the field.
The goal is for the technology to gradually adapt to the way transport agencies work, rather than forcing agencies to completely change their organization just to adapt to the software.
3. Centralizing information to work more efficiently
One of the problems we discussed in our previous article is that information is often scattered across different places.
A parcel may be recorded in one file. The driver receives information through WhatsApp. Another agency confirms its arrival by phone. Then, when a customer asks where their parcel is, someone has to put all of that information back together.
DabaColis is designed to create one central point for these operations.
Today, the platform can be used to manage parcels and their statuses, organize trips and routes, work with partner agencies, scan parcels from a mobile phone, and automatically send certain WhatsApp notifications to recipients.
The purpose behind all of these features remains the same: to make information clearer, better organized, and available when it is needed.
4. DabaColis is not a product we want to build alone
For us, this is probably the most important part.
We can build software.
But transport agencies are the ones who truly understand the business.
They know what happens when a truck leaves Europe for Morocco. They know the day-to-day challenges involving parcels, drivers, partner agencies, and customers.
That is why we want to build DabaColis together with professionals from the transport industry.
We want to listen to their feedback, understand how they work, and identify the problems that cost them time every day.
The future features of DabaColis should be driven largely by these real needs.
If several agencies are facing the same problem, we want to know about it. If a feature could save several hours of work every week, we want to explore it. And if an agency believes that part of DabaColis could be improved, we want to hear about it.
5. Working together to help the industry evolve
We do not want our relationship with transport agencies to be limited to a traditional relationship between a software provider and its customers.
We want to create a real collaboration.
DabaColis should evolve alongside the agencies that use it.
Our ambition is to gradually build the tools the industry actually needs to become more structured, better organized, and better prepared for changing customer expectations.
Large delivery companies have had their own digital systems for years.
We believe independent transport agencies should also have access to tools designed for their activity, without losing what makes them strong: their proximity to customers, their flexibility, and their knowledge of the market.
6. Let’s build what comes next together
DabaColis is still at the beginning of its journey.
We already have many ideas for the future, but what matters most is understanding what transport agencies actually need.
Our vision is simple: create a parcel management software that evolves with the industry and with the people working in it every day.
If you manage a parcel transport agency, your feedback can directly contribute to that evolution.
Tell us what is costing you time today. Tell us what you would like to automate tomorrow. And most importantly, tell us which feature could genuinely improve the way your agency works.
DabaColis should not simply be a tool built for transport agencies.
